One day a skunk and a frog were frolicking through a sleepy sunny neighborhood, playing about, rolling around on the many lush green lawns. At one point, panting, they lay on their backs facing the sky and taking a break.

The skunk asks the froggy, "Froggy, how do you always stay in a good mood. What is your secret?"

And the froggy responds "I just go along for the ride, not worrying about the next bend. Why do you ask this skunky?"

The Skunk replies "Well I just can't… AHHHHHH" Out of nowhere, a crazy man with a cigar jumps hacking the skunk to pieces with a GIANT machete!

On March 25th, NY Times posted article with the following paragraphs (original post):

Hidehiko Nishiyama, deputy director-general of the Japan Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, mentioned damage to the reactor vessel on Friday as a possible explanation of how water in the adjacent containment building had become so alarmingly radioactive. A senior nuclear executive who insisted on anonymity but has broad contacts in Japan said that there was a long vertical crack running down the side of the reactor vessel itself. The crack runs down below the water level in the reactor and has been leaking fluids and gases, he said.

The severity of the radiation burns to the injured workers are consistent with contamination by water that had been in contact with damaged fuel rods, the executive said.

“There is a definite, definite crack in the vessel — it’s up and down and it’s large,” he said. “The problem with cracks is they do not get smaller.”

They removed the admission that the reactor vessel was cracked. It is obvious to most experts now, that given the current levels of radiation in these buildings, more than one reactor vessel has been breached.

After watching this disturbing video of Christine O'Donnell promoting an anti-masturbation campaign on MTV in the 90s, we could discuss the larger implications of the Republican Party being taken over by these nut job Tea Baggers. Instead, I have to ask the burning question: What self respecting anti-masturbation campaign doesn't mention that it grows hair on your palms and makes you go blind?

The Warded Man is the first book by Peter Brett. He wrote the thing on his Blackberry during his commute to Manhatten on the F-Train. I really enjoyed it. It's fantasy, but not wizard and orc fantasy. More of a horror slant really. Awesome/unique hero character. Fast read. 7.5/10
